2013 Quebec Writers' Federation Awards
It's AUTUMN, which means the end of lazy afternoons sitting on a beach towel for six hours straight until your burnt, hungry and finally reached the end of THE SHINING GIRLS (there was no way you were going to put it down until you found out if Kirby finally confronts her would-be killer). It also marks the beginning of AWARDS SEASON and perhaps, more substantial reading goals. We've already posted a couple of nominations here, and here. Below you'll find a list of nominees for the 2013 Quebec Writers' Federation Awards. The Quebec Writers’ Federation highlights the best English-language writers to emerge from Quebec and includes six $2,000 book prizes for Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry, First Book, Translation, and Children’s and Young Adult Literature.
