Move over Lisbeth Salander, there’s a new Scandinavian crime thriller in town and it plans on sticking around for a while! THREE SECONDS swiftly snagged the #9 spot on the NYT bestseller list this week after only a brief time in bookstores. We have a feeling this early success is just the tip of the iceberg for Anders Roslund and Borge Hellström. Read it people, you won’t be disappointed.
Jerry Robinson’s new coffee table tome Jerry Robinson: Ambassador of Comics was profiled on Sneakpeek and picked up by IMBD. If you’re a comics fan, you’ll know that Robinson is one of the living legends of American comics, and a member of the original Batman team.
The Montreal Gazette suggests the book YUCK! The Things People Eat may help folks lose a few pounds. Check out the article here and let us know what you think of this... um, unique weight-loss technique.

Lastly, if you haven’t yet heard of Kris Carr, I would like to make the formal introduction now. Kris is a Cancer survivor who has transformed the way she eats, lives and views the world and it all started with a low-glycemic, vegetarian diet. Her program focuses on balancing the pH of the body with whole and raw foods, organic green drinks, and smoothies. If this sounds complicated – trust me, she explains it much better than I ever could! Her New Book Crazy Sexy Diet debunks diet myths, shares tips on how to detox safely, and even how to grocery shop! It is witty, accessible, powerful, and beautifully illustrated. Enough said. See this month’s Best Health Magazine for a review.
