N.K. Jemisin wins a 2nd Hugo Award for Best Novel!
On August 11th, N.K. Jemisin’s THE OBELISK GATE won the Hugo Award for Best Novel!

THE FIFTH SEASON’s Hugo win last year made Jemisin the first black writer in history to win the prestigious Hugo Award for Best Novel. This year, she repeated the feat with sequel THE OBELISK GATE — making her only the third writer in history to take the Best Novel accolade two years in a row. She joins genre luminaries Orson Scott Card and Lois McMaster Bujold.
