Chris Brookmyre wins the Theakston Old Peculier Novel of the Year

We're truly thrilled to announce that Chris Brookmyre has won the most prestigious crime award, the Theakston Old Peculier novel of the year, with his stellar suspense thriller Black Widow.

Black Widow also won Scotland's premiere crime award, the McIlvanney, making Christhe first author to win both. He has been four times nominated for the Theakstons, but this is his first time winning.
