This novel takes place at a Michigan hospital and revolves around Monday mornings: the time when the hospital has Morbidity & Mortality Meetings, in which doctors are held accountable and must explain mistakes they have made. Sound a little cold and gloomy? Just the opposite: this book is heartfelt, the characters are sympathetic and relatable, and you won't want to put it down.
