The Three Fates of Henrik Nordmark. By Christopher Meades. Published by ECW Press.

Three Fates of Henrik NordmarkWhat a great read!  Fun, Fast and utterly enjoyable.  I would recommend this book to anyone who has a fondness for a writer like Carl Hiassen.  Like Hiassen, there are a number of seemingly unrelated storylines that in the end become completely and hilariously intertwined. Throughout there is a real cinematic feel to the story, the characters and the dialogue.  While the story focuses on Henrik and his quest to be unique, it is his complete naiveté that makes him so compelling and his final epiphany so perfect.  And the supporting cast, with all of their eccentricities and obsessive personality quirks make this book a most entertaining read.  I can’t help but look forward to the lucky producers vision of Henrik on the movie screen, not to mention the subsequent novels by Christopher Meades.
